Performance Team co-Director ... miss Cassie
The RJ's Performance Team is a dynamic team for dancers entering 3rd grade and up who are just entering the competitive dance world. This team is perfect for dancers who wish to compete and perform with a lighter commitment level than the Competition Team, but still want to focus on technical training, have more performance opportunities, and prepare for additional dance programs in high school and beyond. Former RJ's Performance Team members have gone on to dance with our competitive programs as well as many area high school dance and cheer teams.
It is recommended that dancers have at least one year of tap/ballet/jazz combo class prior to auditioning for the team.This team opportunity is open to all current and new students enrolling in RJ's Ellisville or RJ's Chesterfield. Dancers wishing to audition are encouraged to attend open ballet and jazz classes during the summer.
Directors seek dancers who demonstrate a genuine passion for dance, maintain consistent attendance, exhibit positive attitudes, and show strong coachability. If chosen for this team, dancers will attend one regional convention, two-three regional competitions, and several showcases and community events.

If your dancer is interested in joining our team, plan on coming to the interest meeting on May 2nd. We will be going over the requirements and recommendations for each RJ's team and answering any questions you may have about our programs and the process!
