Miss Kaylee

Kaylee Schreiver

Miss Kaylee's parents were both dancers so naturally, her mom put her in dance when she was little. Kaylee absolutely hated it and cried when I had to go every week. Then in 4th grade, her younger sister did a summer dance camp and Kaylee was jealous. Her mom put her back in classes and she fell in love with it and has been dancing ever since! Dancing at RJ’s she took classes in every style she could! She was also on the Marquette Mystique dance team all 4 years of high school. Currently, Kaylee is at Lindenwood where she is on the Lionettes Dance Team and in the dance program. Dancing at Lindenwood has enabled her to participate in many dance concerts and compete for several national title wins at NDA. One of her favorite dance memories is dancing on the Bandshell finals stage with my dance team. "It is a huge outdoor stage right next to the beach and it’s such an amazing experience projecting your energy to everyone in the arena and on the boardwalk. Then when we won we all got to run off the stage and into the ocean which was super cool!" Kaylee credits all of her dance teachers at RJ's with being her role models and pushed her to want to be a better dancer and person, and inspired me to pursue a career in dance. Kaylee has also been coaching dance teams (Jr Mustang Dancers) for 3 years now and loves inspiring younger dancers and teaching them life lessons along with their dance education. "It’s also cool to see choreography you picture in your head come to life. I’m excited to pass on the knowledge that I’ve learned to a new group of dancers and hopefully inspire them the same way my teachers have inspired me."
