Miss Michelle started dance at age 5 at RD dance in Michigan. She was on the performance team at RD until they closed their doors (retired) in 1996 and she continued on with competition and performance teams at Anita’s Dance, Theater & Performing Arts. Performing arts took Michelle across the country to places such as Branson, Niagara Falls, Cincinnati, Florida, New York, and Las Vegas. Michelle danced at Cobo Hall for the Festival of Lights and the Builders Show as well as the Detroit Thanksgiving Day Parade. She graduated magma cum laude from the University of North Carolina-Wilmington with a BA in Communication Studies. While attending UNC she took many dance classes at the college level and also competed on the NAIGC gymnastics team. Michelle has been coaching gymnastics and teaching dance for the last 21 years. She pioneered three competitive gymnastics teams at Classic Gymnastics in Jacksonville, NC, and has taught both recreational and competitive level dance as well as led the Acro program at Anita’s Elite Dance in Sterling Heights Michigan until her move to St. Louis in 2022.
