Miss Cara got into dancing at age two with her very first teacher, Miss Dana! She was hooked and began competing at age 7. In 2008, she started dancing at Dance Floor and was a member of the competition team until she graduated high school. While she was a dynamo in all styles, she excelled and had a tremendous understanding of tap. Her dance role model is the one and only, Miss Dana. Cara says, "She shared her love and passion for dance with me and helped me to become who I am today. Oh, and my dad. He taught me everything I know." (clearly a joke). She loves getting to see others get excited about dance! During the day she is a Child Life Specialist at St. Louis Children’s Hospital. It is her job to help make the hospital an easier place to be for kids and to help it not be so scary. She is an avid Harry Potter enthusiast and loves spending time with her family, and dog, traveling, and exploring life underwater as a SCUBA diver! She also enjoys giving back to her community and in 2018, shaved her head to raise money for childhood cancer research through St. Baldricks.
